Elegant Beach Theme! Sea Shells and Starfish Card and Decoration Ideas

You'll feel like your toes are in the sand with pretty shells and starfish!

Pretty purple shells and sand dollar die cuts are perfect for a beach theme party. For classic summer barbeque, kid's party or baby shower these die cuts are great for party invitations and décor. The shells and sand dollars are also perfect for travel scrapbooking and sweet greeting cards.

Mix and match shells and starfish with hand stamped tags for invitations to your beachy party.

Simple and elegant centerpieces are party perfect. All it takes is a round glass votive, sand, shells and the starfish and shell die cut.

Starfish and starfish can be used on greeting cards, tags, even for place settings. With the addition of a toothpick they also are the right size for cupcake toppers.

Watch for showers!

Baby showers

When I think of rain showers, I think sad, maybe depressing, but these baby shower invitation and announcement ideas will bring nothing but a smile!

How sweet are polka dots for a baby shower? Playing with fun colors and fonts are a great way to create a fun palate for your DIY baby card. Carry the colors over to the shower to complete your theme.

Zoo Animal Baby Shower

My sister's recent baby shower was such a fun time. It gave me a chance to experiment with a few different craft projects.

Invitations

A simple card in a turquoise blue with a happy yellow giraffe. The white baby text jumps out on the bright color.

Decorations

Zoo animals added a fun touch to the décor. The yellow lion with polka dot mane was really cute. The chevron funny monkey gave everyone a friendly wave. My sister made the chocolate dipped pretzels with sprinkles. They were a hit!

Treats

The cake really came out well. We ordered extra plain cupcakes. I made the turquoise flags to go on top.

A little extra fun

Turquoise chevron moustaches were fun for everyone to get into the spirit of welcoming the little man!

Favors

I had been wanting to try chalkboard paint for a while. I made chalkboard clips with a magnet on the back using a thin wooden square attached to a wooden clothespin. Hot glue gun and craft paint were the only other tools necessary for this easy favor.
